What Made the Algae Grow?

Acid Wash

This process is slightly more extensive than treating the water in your pool. We provide Acid Wash that will whiten and brighten and renew your pool to its fullest potential.
How Does the Acid Wash Work?
Our Acid Wash will remove the top layer of your plaster that holds the discoloration. This process brings to the surface the plaster underneath that is untouched by the algae or discolring factors to reveal a new pool look. Note that when your pools are built to regulation they have at least a half inch thick plaster so that the acid wash can be completed without damaging the pools structure.

Pool Filter Cleaning & Backwashing

Sand Filters
Similar to DE Filters, Sand Filters should be back-washed after building up 5–10 PSI of pressure, usually about every one to four weeks. General pool service guidelines recommend to replace the sand and check the filter every four to five years.
