Pool use matters. A pool used by a family every evening receives more sunscreen, sweat, debris, and organic contamination than a pool used twice a month. Parties, dogs, irrigation overspray, nearby construction, and frequent inflow from a raised spa can all change chlorine demand and water clarity.
